During the discovery and consultation process, we will determine how much clean-up or catch-up is required before we can effectively deliver monthly bookkeeping services. We can also set up QuickBooks Online from scratch or transition from other bookkeeping platforms.

FAQs

A: Bookkeeping can be time consuming, especially for small business owners already juggling multiple responsibilities. Many owners find that these tasks take away from their ability to focus on core business activities. Business owners without strong financial background may also not fully grasp the importance of accurate and timely accounting practices. With our extensive experience in accounting, we can help alleviate these pain points and provide you with clear and accurate numbers of your company’s financial state.

A: Currently we only provide bookkeeping services using QuickBooks Online. If you are not currently on QBO, we are happy to discuss whether QBO would be a good fit for your business and help you transition your books to QBO before we take over. We currently cannot service clients for bookkeeping outside of the QBO platform.

A: Our services are catered to small and medium businesses (typically <$25M revenue) across any industry.

A: For A/R, we help set up automated invoicing on QBO, reconcile payments received, and provide basic A/R reporting at period end to inform you of your outstanding receivables. A/R management does not include collections – as your bookkeepers, we do not actively pursue outstanding payments from your clients on your behalf.

For A/P, we process the payment records for your business’s expenses to ensure all is appropriately recorded and reconcile balances at period end as part of the cash reconciliation process. The default A/P management service does not include processing outgoing payments.
